You know, you go on a date, text back and forth constantly, and feel like all signs are pointing to a more serious relationship. Then all of a sudden, that person just disappears. No calls, no texts, no response of any kind. Interestingly enough, this phenomenon is starting to spill over into the employment world; leaving many organizations scratching their heads in confusion when a brand new employee does not show up on their first day of work.
